Hot Chocolate Anyone?

I love that our families give us Valentine's still.  It makes me so excited.  This year David and I were given hot chocolate and mugs by John and Rose Ellen (David's parents).

We have a TON of h.c.  I mean we will be drinking it for a looooooooong time.

Thankfully we love hot chocolate.  Therefore we are super glad this is all ours.

...And here is what my mom sent me at work!! I love surprises!!

I have to brag on David...how sweet is this...a heart shaped pizza he got us :) Love him

and the sweet message he wrote on Mr. Pig!

Hooray for Warm Weather

I know this isn't going to last long, but after our deep freeze here in the MidWest it is very nice to get some "warm" days...45 degrees this past weekend!  It might be rainy and gloomy but my goodness it is getting warmer!!  I'm sure we will get more snow before the season is over, but I'm loving every second of the warmness that has taken over mid February.

Indy Winter Classic Dog Show

For the past 2 years my mom and I have made it a tradition to go to the dog show in Indianapolis.  Let me tell you, it is so much fun!  We basically spend most the day watching dogs (preferably Westies, MinPins, and Daschunds) being judged and run around.  I think it is so neat to see how dedicated and disciplined these owners and their dogs are.  Thanks mom for making this so fun!!

Friends and Euchre

We have a great bunch of friends.  So much fun.  Since everyone (but me) knows how to play cards (euchre)  I am usually left out while we have game night.  I don't really care.  I have been taught by multiple people, multiple times and still can't quite figure out the game.  However, when everyone does get together and plays cards I have a great opportunity to snap pictures!

Happy Groundhog Day!

UPDATE:
Phil DID NOT see his shadow!! Yay for spring!

I love this holiday.  I think it is so silly.  I love the story behind it.

Here's to you Punxsutawney Phil and hoping you don't see your shadow!

I swear there is a groundhog that lives in our backyard somewhere.
I have seen him before. Just saying

Burrrrrrrrrrrrr

We had a snow day weekend in our household this past weekend.  It was lovely.  It was soooo stinkin' cold out. So what did we do?

We built a fort.

We froze our paws off.

And chewed on bones.

We played monopoly.

We watched The Office Season 6. (well part of it)

We slept in.

We cleaned.

And napped.

We watched football.

And ate a family dinner at John and Rose Ellen's.

It might have been a lazy weekend, but it was much needed.

Oh and I must add that Peyton literally froze his paws off.  I let him outside to potty and he stood out there for quite some time and then couldn't walk back in.  He held his paws out of the snow and cried.  It was so pitiful.  And so precious.
