so, i have seen this on a few blogs

...however...

 i am going to do this over 10 WEEKS.

obsessively over the top in love with my dog.

i worry about myself sometimes...
yes, it is that bad.
i mean...i hold on my hip like a child.
and talk to him like he will actually respond to me.
strange? maybe...but, because of you blog ladies
i have realized this isn't as odd as i once thought.

very particular, which comes across as bossy.
or maybe bitchy. whatev.
that is me. and i have always been that way.
i like to think of it as i know what i want.
you know those people that are all like
"i don't care" "doesn't matter to me"
that is not me. if you ask me where i want to eat,
i will most likely chose olive garden  tell you.

a creature of habit.
i am one of those gals who thrives off a schedule.
to the exact second.
i hop out of bed the second my alarm goes off.
i also make sure i am tucked into bed no later than 10pm on the days i work.
routines are my fav.
which makes me a hot mess when i fall off of it.
which then leads to bitching.
so you see, it is a downward spiral if i get off of my routine.
lame? yes. on time? always.

in love with pasta.
specifically garden rotini.
it is always stocked in my pantry.
david always says my last meal would be pasta.
which worries me that he has thought that...but that is for another post.
i could and would eat it every day if it were acceptable.

isn't it funny how when you are first with someone, you don't want them to ever see you at your worst...whether it is how you look, or things you do...

today i turn 26.

26.years.old.

i'm in my late 20's now.

it feels weird to say i'm 26.

i was born on father's day. 6-16-1985 @ 9:14am

i was a day early.
my dad was the first to hold me.

Here is an example of an argument David and I recently had.
I know you will take my side because...well...I'm right! :)


The day we were taking Peyton to his laser therapy David so generously took the day off.
We I got up early and took care of all the morning stuff.
I hop in the car and wait.
and wait. We are late. I HATE BEING LATE.
On top of that, we have no clue where we are going b/c it is a new vet.
Finally, David gets in the car.
He starts looking for the GPS and cannot find it.
HE THEN ACCUSES ME OF LOSING THE GPS!  EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?
a freaking gps started an argument.
I snap back that if HE weren't running late this wouldn't be an issue.
Then some more stuff is said.
We don't talk until we get to the vet.
We drop our sweet love off.


Then David pulls in here.

we argue.

and never forget to say "I love you"

I didn't want to take away from the Birthday Boy on his birthday, so my New Year Goal update is a day late :)

• I have been faithfully keeping up with my Gratitude Journal.  It isn't a "chore" and it has become my favorite part of my day.  I enjoy reviewing my day while writing down just how grateful I am about the small things in life.  I love that David continues to tell me things he is grateful for.  This has actually brought us closer :)
• On the workout end of things I am still going to body sculpt and boot camp, however, I have added another class (body sculpt) on Friday afternoons!  I love my instructor Katie and I love attending class.  I never feel like I HAVE to go.  I always want to be there!
• I have finished one book (and not the one I orginially started, The Five Love Languages) I read Where Are You Now by Mary Higgins Clark (I think I have read EVERY single one of her books).  I started it on Friday and finished in on Saturday.  It was great.  I love mysterys.  I have started reading N is for Noose by Sue Grafton.  So far it is addicting!!
• Training Peyton=bust.  I haven't even tried to make him better.  He is just so darn sweet and I give in way too much.  I hope that this spring/summer I will have a little more motivation to complete this goal.
• Bettering my relationship with those around me is easy.  I have decided that every time I think of someone I will text them and let them know.  I have been sending more random texts throughout the day.  I want those around me to know that I am thinking about them and that they are important to me.  I know when I get those random calls or texts it makes me feel so great! 
• I have yet to run a 5K.  Enough said.  It is too cold for me to be outside.  I'm thinking by the time fall comes around I will be able to fulfill this goal.

Topsy Turvy

I am aware it is February and we are no where close to being able to grow tomatoes, but I must inform anyone who loves tomatoes to GET THIS.  It's the Topsy Turvy and IT IS AMAZING.  I was shocked this past summer at how well it worked.  All summer long I had tons of tomatoes to eat.  You can "plant" any kind of 'mater.  It also saves you some money at the grocery store.  I am looking forward to getting mine out...as soon as it gets nice out!

Sudoku

I have to admit I have a slight obsession with Sudoku.  You know...the number puzzle.  I'm not to shabby at it either.  Anyway, every night I get into bed and attempt my puzzle.  I cannot go to bed without doing at least one of these.  I think I have a problem.  I admit I have a problem, but Sudoku is just so darn fun I don't plan on breaking my habit.

My Little Helper

Since I only work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (don't hate), I have a nice 4 day weekend, every week.  Therefore, I WILL NOT COMPLAIN about work.  Anyway, during those 3 days I'm pretty much lame.  I get up ridiculously early, and go to bed early.  Therefore nothing gets done those days.  Which means on Thursday I start my "weekend" routine around the house. Thursdays are my cleaning days.  I clean the entire house.  From top to bottom.  I love it.  It makes me feel so good to know that the house is clean and everything is put up and organized.  Peyton helps.  Here is proof...
