I love to golf.

I'm also not to shabby!

I golf a lot with my mom and David's mom.

David likes to golf also, but he gets fussy when I beat him :)

race day

the race was last sunday
perfect weather.
wonderful time!

Indianapolis 500

Ok, I live in Indy.
Racing is a big deal.
The Indy500 is a huge deal.

yes, we go.
yes, it is hot.
yes, it is crowded.
yes, there are a trillion white trash people in attendance.


however,
it is a tradition.
and
i love traditions.


Our Indy500 Traditions:
*sausage balls
*arriving at 5am
*drinking beer {a lot of it}
*rolling dice
*auctioning off drivers (for moolah)
*tailgating inside the gates
*peeing a million times


I absolutley love going to the 500! I really could care less abou the race...it is spending time with everyone I love (usually about 50 of us) and making memories!!


Race Day is : Sunday May 29th

Well, softball season has started.

Not for me of course.  For David :)

See, I consider myself the "team mom".

I don't play softball.  I don't have the hand/eye coordination to do so.

I love to watch.

My mom is one of my best friends.  We didn't always get along while I was a teenager, however, we have grown so very close since I have grown up :)

I talk to her every.single.day.

I don't live very close to her and I miss her all the time.

I love you Mom!!!! You are the best mom a girl could ask for!

I can't forget about my other mom...my MIL R.E. :)

What a blessing to have you as my MIL!

I love that we get along, and that we go and have our nails done.

I couldn't have asked for a better person to call my MIL!!

I am so very lucky to have 2 wonderful women in my life!

Spring

I forgot to post this a few weeks ago.  But...

3nd day of Spring 2011...3/23/2011

yes. this is hail.
then it snowed.
then the power went out.

BBQ Love

We love to BBQ (who doesn't?)
This past weekend the weather was perfect.
So we did this...

{and yes, I am wearing sweatpants...it was freezing out}

David's mom loves to get mani/pedis.  Good thing I do also.

From the 1st time I started coming around David's family (5 years ago-shesh 5!) David's mom and I have made it a little habit tradition to go get our nails done at least once a month every now and then. 

I know, I know...some may call this a waste of money, but we all have that one thing we  splurge on .  I just happen to splurge on my nails.

I am loving Haribo Gummy Bears. They are the best gummy bear ever.  I'm to the point where I refuse to buy or eat non-Haribo gummy bears!

I am loving that David and I got to carpool this week! :)
We sang along to songs on the radio.
I love that we have so much fun together.  Even if it is on the way to work!

I am loving Peyton.  Just b/c he is so darn precious.

SPRING!

It's finally here!

...and it's cold/rainy out...

We have had a looooooong weekend.

Puppy got hurt :(

We spent a few hours at the vet.

and spent alot of time on the couch and in bed...

However, Peyton is feeling much better...

SPRING forward!

The only true reason for me liking DayLight Savings Time is because this means when I leave work it will be light outside still! (During the winter time I go into work and it is dark, and leave work and it's dark-NOT FUN) Whoo-hoo for Springing forward...now I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can take the pup out for an evening walk without freezing!
