Indy Winter Classic Dog Show

For the past 2 years my mom and I have made it a tradition to go to the dog show in Indianapolis.  Let me tell you, it is so much fun!  We basically spend most the day watching dogs (preferably Westies, MinPins, and Daschunds) being judged and run around.  I think it is so neat to see how dedicated and disciplined these owners and their dogs are.  Thanks mom for making this so fun!!

My Little Helper

Since I only work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (don't hate), I have a nice 4 day weekend, every week.  Therefore, I WILL NOT COMPLAIN about work.  Anyway, during those 3 days I'm pretty much lame.  I get up ridiculously early, and go to bed early.  Therefore nothing gets done those days.  Which means on Thursday I start my "weekend" routine around the house. Thursdays are my cleaning days.  I clean the entire house.  From top to bottom.  I love it.  It makes me feel so good to know that the house is clean and everything is put up and organized.  Peyton helps.  Here is proof...

Helping dust.

Helping Clean the bathrooms.

 Helping with laundry.

 Helping vacuum.

 Helping unload the dishwasher.

I love my cleaning days with Peyton!!

Friends and Euchre

We have a great bunch of friends.  So much fun.  Since everyone (but me) knows how to play cards (euchre)  I am usually left out while we have game night.  I don't really care.  I have been taught by multiple people, multiple times and still can't quite figure out the game.  However, when everyone does get together and plays cards I have a great opportunity to snap pictures!

It was a GREAT movie! Go rent it! You won't be disappointed.

David + Colts = Love

David is addicted. To the Indianapolis Colts.  I supposed I shouldn't be shocked.  His father is the exact same way. They chat almost daily about who is injured, who is playing, the coach, etc.  Starting in early August through January (and sometimes February!) all I hear is Colts this and Colts that.  I'm not upset.  It is pretty cute to watch a grown man get so excited about his beloved Colts.  However, this year we had to say goodbye much to soon.  We put away our Colts gear, and are anxiously awaiting for next season.  Until then...here is a little sneak peek into our Colts obsession.

And if we were psycho  crazy already our precious pup is named after Super Bowl MVP, greatest QB ever...Peyton Manning.

Happy Groundhog Day!

UPDATE:
Phil DID NOT see his shadow!! Yay for spring!

I love this holiday.  I think it is so silly.  I love the story behind it.

Here's to you Punxsutawney Phil and hoping you don't see your shadow!

I swear there is a groundhog that lives in our backyard somewhere.
I have seen him before. Just saying

February 1, 2011

It is one month into the New Year and I thought It was time to do a progress report regarding my New Year Goals.

1. My gratitude journal is filling up.  Some days are very hard to come up with 5 things I am greatful for, other days it is very easy.  I love looking back and reading some of the things I was greatful for on certain days.  It makes me appreciate the small things in life when I do this.  David has also continued to do this also.  (Although not in journal form-just telling me)  I love hearing about what makes him greatful.  It is nice to know that he is "looking" for the good things that happen through out the day.

2.  I have been going to Body Sculpt and Boot Camp.  I do these on Thursdays (Body Sculpt) and Saturdays (Boot Camp).  On Fridays Theresa and I work out at J and RE's.  I love my classes so much.  I have been doing them since September and I have noticed changes.  I have gotten stronger and more toned.  I am so glad I can do these.  It makes me have more energy and not feel so dull on these looooong winter days.

3. I am still in the process of reading The Five Love Languages.  I'll update more after I am finished reading.  So far it is OK.

Hope everyone is sticking with their goals!!  So far I can say I am doing well!!
