Repair works has began for the Hundred Steps, a Sandakan Heritage site which is popular with joggers. Not sure how much the government is spending on this repair works, I hope it won’t be like the Agnes Keith’s House which a million Ringgit budget was allocated but I would have done it for 100k. I’m neither historian nor an antics specialist; maybe an old structure’s repair works cost ten times of a normal house. It is furnished with colonial styled furniture and antiques, maybe that’s the reason it cost a million for restoration cost. I hope a New Malaysia happened today but I know it'll be hard, definately harder than climbing this 100steps!
